She holds  a PhD in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness from Sokoine University of Agriculture in Morogoro, Tanzania.

Currently, she works at the Ministry of Agriculture Livestock and Fisheries  under Department of Policy and Planning,  as a Principal Agricultural Economist I responsible for Monitoring and Evaluation of Agricultural Development Intervation Program and a Coordinator of the Platform for Agriculture Policy Analysis and Coordination (PAPAC) for ASDP II.

She is the author of several publications mostly related to livestock in Tanzania. 

In addition to supporting various projects also she is the Chairperson of Tanzania Association of Women Leaders in Agriculture and Environment.
